Lantana Cafe - London Bridge

Brunch is one of my favourite meals and many of you will have seen Australian cafes popping up around London. Sometimes I find brunch menus to be egg heavy so it's always a pleasant surprise to have a good selection of vegetarian options that are also healthy. Lantana has a great selection for everyone so is definitely worth checking out.

Lantana Cafe have a few restaurants now, the original in Fitzrovia and more recently in London Bridge. London Bridge is a great spot with so much choice and also it's quieter at the weekends so you don't have to rush through your meal. I love open spaces and Lantana London Bridge is spacious and lets in lots of natural light.

Now down to what we ordered. We started off with some healthy juices. I'm a fan of the classic ABC (also called a cleanser) - you can never go wrong with a nice blend of beetroot, carrot, apple and ginger. If you like lighter juices my friend really enjoyed the The Hulk :)

9/10 This is probably my favourite smashed avocado toast which is a big statement but i love the hazelnut and pistachio dukkah with the courgette and avocado. It's a great combo but definitely different to your traditional avocado on toast so be prepared for a less heavy avocado toast. We got the egg on the side but it would usually arrive on top.

8/10 The courgette bread was something really different and worked well with the five beans and of course halloumi and extra avocado!! I'm not sure i've ever tried courgette bread before, might need to investigate how to make it!

Corn fritters are always a favourite but i do find its hard for them to be really tasty. These were pretty good but i'm yet to find amazing ones. The search continues :) We may have overdone the halloumi by this point but can you really ever have too much?
