Lima Floral, Covent Garden

Ready to bring in the Bank Holiday weekend? I certainly am. As you may have established i'm a huge avocado fan so as soon as a South American restaurant opens so do my eyes. Lima Floral opened some time back but I never felt there was enough vegetarian options on the menu. However I finally decided it was time to give it a go. I should point out we were so full we couldn't actually finish our mains - although I may have gotten over excited with the Yucas!

Restaurant: Lima Floral

14 Garrick St, WC2E 9BJ

Tube: Covent Garden/Leicester Sq

Don't miss: Chinese style vegetables, Corn cake, Yuca

Starters

4* The causas (far right) are an odd dish and feel a bit like cold potato mash with some quinoa sprinkled on top so i'd say they are a waste of time

7* The ceviche was tasty although i think for vegetarians this is never going to be that amazing

8* The corn cake was tasty and great although it does need a sauce with it. We had a yellow spicy one and some avocado (of course!)

8* I loved the yucas, simple yet who doesn't love some fried cassava with a slightly spicy dip.

Mains

7* Quinoa was quite a simple dish, it was nice but a bit spicy for me

8* Chinese style vegetables were really tasty but mushroom heavy so not hugely to my liking

Overall really helpful staff and nice atmosphere, it's a fun place so good for an after work treat, date night or bigger groups.

Verdict: I wouldn't rush back as we tried most of the veg options on the menu but maybe after some time
